"With Boldness" Russian Caravan Black Tea, Loose Tea
If you like strong, smokey tea, this one is for you. Much like the famous "Russian Imperial Stout" style of beer, this tea's origins don't come FROM Russia, but TO Russia (with love). The beer is from England, made for the Russian Czar. The tea has a similar story. The style is from China, carried on camel caravan on route to Russia in the 18th century. Legend has it that it took at least 6 months for the tea to arrive to its destination and the smokiness from the Lapsang developed and aged during the travel for the strength of royalty. Nostrovia.
